Terms of Service
Effective as of the date of your account registration. Operated by Vyrencode (Nürnberg, Germany).
1. Scope
These Terms govern your use of DevConnect, a developer platform for profiles, jobs, communities, chat, mentoring, app-tester exchange and per-profile stores. By creating an account you accept these Terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts violating these Terms.
3. User content
You keep ownership of content you post (profile, posts, comments, services, store products, reviews). You grant DevConnect a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host and display it for operating the service.
4. Conduct
No spam, harassment, illegal content, malware, scraping, or attempts to bypass security. Stores and services must accurately describe what is offered.
5. Stores, services & reviews
Each profile may operate a store. Transactions are between buyer and seller; DevConnect is not a party. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Sellers may not retaliate against honest reviews.
6. App-tester exchange
Participants commit to honest testing for the Google Play closed-test requirement (12 testers × 14 days). Fraudulent signups may be removed.
7. Voice rooms & calls
Voice rooms in communities are open to the members of that community — treat them as public. Private calls are only possible between members who follow each other, and you can turn incoming calls off entirely in your profile settings.
Do not record a call or a voice room without the clear consent of everyone in it. Under German law (§ 201 StGB) secretly recording a non-public spoken conversation is a criminal offence, and it applies here as it does anywhere else. DevConnect does not record anything, and we will act on reports of anyone who does.
Your microphone and camera are never switched on without your explicit permission. Audio and video travel directly between participants; this means the other participants can see your IP address, which is unavoidable for a direct connection. If you would rather not share it, do not join.
Harassment, repeated unwanted calls, and disruptive behaviour in voice rooms are treated like any other breach of section 4 and can cost you your account.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts violating these Terms.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app.
