Google Play closed test tracker
Google needs 12 testers opted in for 14 continuous days before you can apply for production access. Put in your start date and how many testers you have, and this tells you which day you are on and what a drop-out costs you.
No account, no sign-up, nothing stored on a server. Your progress lives in the link.
Pick the first day your test had 12 testers on it. If you are not there yet, pick the day you expect to be, and this will count forward from it.
Losing testers is what actually kills the run
The counter is the easy part. Keeping 12 real people opted in for two straight weeks is the part that fails. On DevConnect, developers test each other's apps: you test mine, I test yours, and nobody pays 20 dollars for a list of fake accounts.
With a free account your test is saved, you get matched with testers automatically, and you are warned by email when your count drops below 12.
Questions people ask
Do I need an account to use this tracker?
No. Everything you type is stored in the page address itself, so nothing is sent to a server and nothing is saved about you. Bookmark the link and it remembers your test.
What exactly resets the 14 days?
Dropping below 12 opted-in testers. The days only count while at least 12 testers are opted in, so one person leaving on day 11 can put you back at the start. Recruit 15 or more so a single drop-out does not cost you two weeks.
Does this read my Play Console?
No. It is a calculator, not an integration. The Play Console is the authority on whether you have met the requirement, and its own counter can lag by a day. Use this to plan, then confirm there.
When can I apply for production access?
Once 12 testers have stayed opted in for 14 continuous days. The tracker shows you that date. Google then reviews the app, which usually takes a few days but can run longer.
