What is RunsOnMac….?
Because DevConnect has been growing insanely fast over the last week and I’ve gained more than 200 new followers, a lot of you have been asking what my website is actually about and what the idea behind it is. So here’s a quick explanation:
RunsOn Mac is a community-driven database for Mac gaming.
The idea is pretty simple: I want to make it easy to find out which games actually run on your Mac and, more importantly, how well they perform, without having to spend hours searching through Reddit posts, YouTube videos, forums, and random websites just to find an answer that might not even match your Mac.
You can search for games, check compatibility, see real-world benchmarks like FPS, graphics settings, and resolutions across different Mac models, and compare results submitted by the community.
Because in the end, “Does it run on Mac?” only tells you half the story.
RunsOn Mac is supposed to answer the question that actually matters:
“How well does it run on MY Mac?”
Tomorrow, I’ll give you a big preview of what I’ve been building over the last 14 days, including new features, major improvements, and a closer look at the current redesign.
