A slightly frustrating dev update…

Right now, the three major backend systems are honestly giving me a bit of a headache. They’re the foundation for pretty much everything I want RunsOn Mac to do properly, and until they’re stable, there’s only so far I can realistically go with the Game Cards. I can redesign and tweak the cards as much as I want, but if the data structure, benchmark logic and backend flow underneath them aren’t solid yet, I’m basically decorating a house before the walls are finished. And yes, development is currently doing the classic thing where fixing one problem somehow introduces three new ones. I posted a much more detailed changelog yesterday covering the backend changes, so if you want the full technical context, I’d definitely recommend checking that out. Once those backend systems are properly in place, I can finally focus on getting the Game Cards to show all the benchmark and compatibility data in a way that feels clean, useful and not like a miniature aircraft cockpit. Realistically, I’m probably looking at another 1–2 weeks before everything reaches the point where I’m genuinely happy with it. The direction is clear. The foundation just needs to stop fighting me first.
