RunsOn Mac — Changelog // September 24 – October 7

Sry guys I forgot the Changelog... so here the last 14 Days! A lot has happened behind the scenes over the past two weeks. Here are the most important additions and changes to RunsOn Mac. 🕷️ Autonomous Research Crawler The RunsOn Mac research crawler received major upgrades. - Up to 50 research iterations every 15 minutes - Automatic benchmark research across the web - Improved duplicate and invalid result detection - Automatic handling of blocked or unavailable sources - Detailed crawler health and performance monitoring - New one-click emergency stop for all crawler processes 🛡️ Multi-Stage Validation System A new validation architecture has been introduced for automatically collected benchmark data. Results no longer become highly trusted immediately after being discovered. The system can compare benchmark results against at least three additional independent observations before assigning stronger confidence. Validation considers: - Independent observations - Source quality - Result consistency - Data completeness - Recency - Outliers 📊 Benchmark Confidence System RunsOn Mac now evaluates confidence separately depending on where benchmark information comes from. The platform distinguishes between: - Community Benchmarks - Web Research Benchmarks - Verified Data This makes it possible to show users not only performance data, but also how trustworthy that information currently is. 🧠 Automatic Game Enrichment A new automatic enrichment pipeline has been built. Games discovered through research can be enriched with additional information before entering the wider RunsOn Mac ecosystem. The core pipeline now works like this: Research → Enrichment → Validation → Evidence Comparison → Confidence 🎮 Separate Benchmark Datasets Benchmark data is no longer forced into one combined dataset. RunsOn Mac now separates: - Community Benchmarks - Web Research - Verified Data This allows multiple performance observations for the same game and Mac configuration to exist independently while still contributing to an overall confidence assessment. 🎯 Growing Game Database The RunsOn Mac database has grown to around 87 games. The underlying database structure has also been prepared to handle significantly larger amounts of automatically researched benchmark data. 🍎 Hardware-Specific Benchmarking Benchmark results are connected to actual Mac configurations rather than only generic system requirements. This allows RunsOn Mac to answer a much more useful question: How does this game actually perform on this specific Mac? 🌐 Community Infrastructure The official RunsOn Mac Discord server has been created. Community Benchmarks remain one of the core parts of the platform and will exist alongside automatically researched and verified performance data. 🚀 Release Status RunsOn Mac has entered its final major development phase before release. Current target: October 15, 2026 - Target maybe not in schedule... The website will launch first, followed later by the native macOS application with planned support for Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
