I build problem solving solutions

About

I’m a B.Com Information Systems student and aspiring software engineer with a strong interest in backend development, system design, and building technology that solves real problems. My journey into software development has been driven by curiosity and a desire to understand what happens behind the screens of the applications people use every day. I enjoy building applications, working with databases and APIs, troubleshooting technical problems, and learning how different parts of a system work together. I joined this Backend Engineering Internship to go deeper than simply making applications “work.” I want to understand what makes a backend reliable, secure, scalable, maintainable, and capable of handling real-world failure cases. I’m particularly interested in API design, databases, authentication and authorization, validation, concurrency, error handling, testing, system architecture, and the engineering decisions that are often invisible to the end user. Throughout the internship, I’ll be building projects, completing practical assignments, experimenting with different approaches, documenting what I learn, and maintaining my work in GitHub. I’m treating this as both a learning journey and a growing engineering portfolio. My goal is to finish the internship with more than a certificate. I want to have a deeper understanding of backend engineering, stronger problem-solving skills, better engineering habits, and projects that demonstrate what I can actually build and explain. I’m learning, building, breaking things, fixing them, and becoming a better engineer one system at a time.
