Monad just launched Metropolis, their 6-week flagship online hackathon running from September 1 through October 13, 2026.
The event features a $250,000 USDC prize pool across key tracks like DeFi, Consumer Payments, Social & Culture, and Trust/Identity/AI Infrastructure. They also have $15K+ in ecosystem sponsor bounties from tools like Envio, Kuru, and Zerion. Since Monad offers 10,000 TPS, 300ms block times, and full EVM compatibility, you can deploy standard Solidity contracts without changing your tooling.
